Yvonne's Story

Meet Yvonne! Yvonne lives with her disabled dog Buddy in Parkland.

Yvonne's home needed some upgrades, together with Rebuilding Together South Sound, she was able to get repairs done at no-cost to her.

Helen's Story

Helen worked professionally as a therapist for Washington State DSHS specializing in care for youth.

In addition to spending her life serving others, she raised her 3 children on her own without support from their father. There were times she wasn’t sure that she would be able to keep her home.

After the volunteers left on Rebuilding Day, she said, “God is good. I’ve been able to hang on. And look at all this—you make miracles happen!” She has plans to have her granddaughter paint a mural on the back fence that used to be covered in ivy.
